On a recent beautiful May morning, Maine Coast Heritage Trust (MCHT) and Brunswick-Land Trust (BTLT) staff gathered with volunteers at WoodwardPoint Preserve (which is owned by MCHT and co-managed by the two organizations) to work on the trails. We hardened wet sections, removed invasive plants along field edges, and built a waterbar to prevent trail erosion.

Everyone’s spirits were high while spreading crushed stone and battling bittersweet – they were grateful to again be working together outdoors. Even the ferocious ticks couldn’t spoil their enthusiasm.
