Community Support Makes It Possible…

One phenomenal success of the Land Trust’s Community Garden is the increase in pounds of fresh produce that we, along with our partner Midcoast Hunger Prevention Program (MCHPP), are able to produce through our Common Good Bed.

In the first four seasons, the Common Good Bed produced over 9,420 pounds of fresh produce for the clients of MCHPP!! Each year more than 100 volunteers dedicate over 400 hours to making this harvest possible.

This wonderful harvest is made possible by the hard work of volunteers and important member support.

Stop by on a volunteer day, join the Land Trust, or get in touch to learn more about how you can make a difference.

Each year we welcome 80+ members of the community, local non-profits, and neighboring residential facilities to join us at the garden as plotholders.

Plot applications are now being accepted. Please click HERE to download a copy.
