Woodward Cove Info

This 18-acre property protects over 1,500 feet of forested shoreline and adjacent salt marsh along upper Woodward Cove, providing key habitat for wildlife and vital water access for local clammers and wormers. Visitors can access a parking area off Gurnet Road/Route 24 leading to a short water access trail for clamming, worming, and hand-carry boats, as well as enjoy a gentle trail through old apple trees to the property’s highest point overlooking the salt marsh.
