Smart Property Info
The Smart Property is a 3.2-acre property owned by the Land Trust found along the Androscoggin River just steps from downtown Topsham, located in the middle of the 0.3-mile Town Landing Trail. This trail leads visitors through a rare Silver Maple Floodplain Forest with towering trees, flooded ash swamps, and river views, offering excellent birdwatching, including warblers, waterfowl, and birds of prey, and a chance to see Atlantic sturgeon during their spring migration. Parking is available on Elm Street, and visitors are asked to stay on the trail as it passes through private land.
