Maquoit Bay Conservation Land is a 124-acre preserve owned by the Town of Brunswick and permanently protected through a conservation easement held by the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust. Conserved in 2007 thanks to the generosity of previous landowners and partners like the Trust for Public Land, this largely woodland property includes salt marsh and clam flats that help safeguard the ecologically significant Maquoit Bay. Visitors can enjoy over a mile of trails for walking and cross-country skiing, as well as stunning coastal views and swimming at Rocky Point, a unique rocky promontory offering access to the warm, shallow waters of the bay at high tide.
