Town of Brunswick Climate Action Plan Seeks Public Feedback

The Town of Brunswick is actively seeking public feedback on the full draft of the Climate Action Plan

  • Deadline for comment is Dec 5th (tentatively scheduled to be brought before Council on 12/16 for adoption vote)
  • Who May Provide Input – Those who live, work, go to school, own a business, or utilize social services in town
  • To Provide Feedback – (Online) see survey details below; (In-Person) see the Town calendar or CAP page for scheduled events

Submit Feedback Online via “Final Community Survey”

  • See pg 2 of this memo for instructions and other details – responses are due 12/5
  • It is strongly recommended to have plan materials handy (open in another tab) for reference while completing the survey
  • The Final Community Survey is broken up into two parts, a “Main” and “Bonus” survey (limit one of each per person)
    • “Main” Community Survey (survey link)
      • Purpose – for people interested in providing general comments or review of strategies included in the plan
      • Estimated Time to Complete – 5-15 minutes (5 min if only answering multiple choice)
      • Note – please take the “main” survey prior to pursuing the “bonus” survey
    • “Bonus” Community Survey (survey link)
      • Consists of 198x multiple choice (answers ranging from strongly “agree” to “disagree”)
      • Purpose – Opportunity to review individual actions in the draft Plan by indicating level of support for their inclusion
      • Estimated Time to Complete – 10 to 45 min (depending on whether you wish to review all actions in each sector and whether you want to provide accompanying comment). You are not required to answer all 198 questions in order to submit your survey responses and may jump around to review those of your choosing; you are free to exit the survey at any time and can do so by scrolling to the end & hit the final submission button.
