Alina Allgyer
Stewardship Manager
Alina (she/her) joined BTLT in June 2026. With a BS in Biology and Anthropology, she has a passion for conserving the land and how people connect to places around them. Originally from Pennsylvania, she came to Maine to serve with the Maine Conservation Corps in 2019 and held various positions with them focused on completing trail projects, volunteer engagement, and member support. When not on the trails, Alina loves boxing, running, and finding new swimming spots around Gardiner.
Emma Blackford
Director of Education & Summer Camp
Emma (she/her) joined BTLT in early 2026. A former Brunswick resident and BTLT volunteer, she returned to the area after several years in North Carolina, where she managed a nature preserve and environmental learning center. With a Master’s in Biological Sciences from the University of New England and a Master’s in Education from Thomas College, Emma loves stewarding meaningful experiences in nature for people and is excited to continue this work at BTLT. In her free time, Emma enjoys bird watching, reading, getting nerdy over unexpected nature treasures, and hiking and exploring with her husband.
Lydia Coburn
Communications Manager
Lydia (she/her) joined the BTLT team in June 2021. With a BA in Conservation Biology and Environmental Sustainability from Hampshire College as well as a graduate certificate in Food Studies from USM, she has a deep passion for our earth and all that it provides. She has professional experience working in outdoor and environmental education, food redistribution, marketing and communications, wildlife husbandry, and event management. Lydia is originally from eastern Massachusetts but has lived in Rhode Island, Vermont, North Carolina, and Australia. She now calls Lisbon Falls, Maine home with her partner, dog, and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, bowling, and volunteering.
Margaret Gerber
Director of Conservation
Margaret (she/her) joined the Land Trust in 2016 having previously worked for Maine Island Trail Association and Maine Coast Heritage Trust. She oversees and implements the stewardship work of the Land Trust by working with landowners and volunteers, planning, building, and maintaining trails, and managing the natural resources on the conserved lands in the community. She is a certified volunteer wildland fire fighter and enjoys gardening, kayaking, rock climbing, and skiing in her free time. She lives in Freeport with her partner.
Kristi Hatrick
Executive Director
Kristi (she/her) has served as Executive Director of BTLT since the fall 2025. She joined the organization in January 2019 and previously led BTLT’s development efforts, overseeing the annual fund, business supporters program, member recruitment, and gift planning. She draws enormous inspiration from the generosity and dedication of BTLT’s supporters, members, and volunteers — thank you! Kristi grew up in Bar Harbor, Maine, and is a graduate of Skidmore College and William & Mary School of Law. After stints on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, and at a law firm in Boston, she was thrilled to return home to Maine in 2005. When not at the office, she enjoys the many offerings of midcoast Maine and thanks her lucky stars every day that she gets to call this part of the world home. She lives in Brunswick with her husband, two daughters, and two cats.
Jamie Pacheco
Director of Agricultural Programs & Strategic Partnerships
Jamie (she/her) joined the Land Trust in the spring of 2018 as a contractor, shifting into her current role responsible for overseeing the Land Trust’s community and agricultural programs and events. Prior to this she worked in various agricultural roles as well as co-owned and managed a restaurant that integrated hands-on learning programs for children. She serves on the boards of Tedford Housing, Growing to Give, and Bath’s Development Corp. Alongside these responsibilities she works for the Merrymeeting Food Council, and she and her husband own Flight Deck Brewing. Jamie lives in Bath with her family.
Sarah Rodgers
Education & School Partnerships Program Manager
Sarah (she/her) served as Education Coordinator for CREA from 2007-2023, and now enthusiastically continues this work as part of BTLT. She helped launch CREA’s very first summer and vacation camps in 2007, and has worked to expand programming and deepen relationships with local teachers and students ever since. Prior to settling at CREA, Sarah taught at Wolfe’s Neck Farm and Maine Audubon, as well as local community gardens & afterschool clubs. She graduated from Bowdoin College with a BA in Environmental Studies and lives in Brunswick with her husband Trevor and two daughters. Outside of work, she loves gardening, game nights, and outdoor adventures around Maine!
Julia St.Clair
Agricultural Programs Manager
Julia (she/her) joined the Land Trust in May 2021 as the Agricultural Programs Coordinator overseeing the Tom Settlemire Community Garden and the Saturday Farmers’ Market at Crystal Spring Farm. Julia holds a BA in Environmental Studies and a BFA in Photography from The New School in New York City. In addition to her NYC education, she has lived and worked on farms across New England and been involved in community gardens in Bar Harbor, Portland, and South Portland. When she’s not gardening, cooking, or talking about food, Julia can be found swimming in the ocean, bowling, or making photographs. She lives in South Portland with her partner and her two cats (and hopes to someday have chickens)!
Lindsey St. Peter
Development Coordinator
A Vermont native with deep family ties to Maine, Lindsey St. Peter developed a lasting connection to the Pine Tree State and made it her home after earning a BA in Art with minors in East Asia Studies and Creative Writing from Saint Michael’s College. She moved to Freeport in 2015, working in marketing and communications for Maine Behavioral Healthcare and later the City of Bath. Now living in Woolwich with her husband, young son, and energetic black lab, Lindsey brings her passion for Maine’s landscapes to BTLT. When not exploring new creative pursuits, she enjoys drawing, writing, cooking, and ambling, stop-to-sketch nature walks. Lindsey joined the BTLT team in spring 2025.
Carey Truebe
Education Programs Manager
Carey (she/her) has over 25 years of experience in education. Most of this has been as an environmental educator, working for NH Audubon, The Science Center of New Hampshire, Morris Farm in Wiscasset, and a variety of other organizations throughout the country. She also taught 4th grade at Hussey School in Augusta, which gave her an even greater appreciation for public school teachers. Carey has a BA in Environmental Studies from Connecticut College. When not tromping through the woods with a group of energetic students, she can be found gardening, canoeing, skiing or hiking with her own family. She lives in Bowdoin with her husband and two children.
Alice Webber
Development Operations Coordinator
Alice (she/her) joined BTLT in May 2021 to assist the Development team and is thrilled to be involved with an organization committed to supporting local communities and our natural lands. A recent suburban transplant to the Brunswick area from a rural Turner farm, she is a New Jersey native and has grown up striving for a balanced city and outdoors life. Though Alice loves backpacking, gardening, creating, and soccer-ing, she has learned to develop a new, full-time love for chasing a wild 4 year old through the woods and waters of Maine.
