During this challenging time, please do all you can to support our local businesses.
Through the years, our Business Partners and Business Members have helped to make our work possible. We are grateful for their support of, and belief in, our conservation, stewardship, and programmatic work. They could use our help now, more than ever. We have asked our Business Supporters how we can best support them; below are their responses. We will be updating this page regularly with messages directly from them, to you, their community. Thank you.
If you are a BTLT Business Supporter and would like to have your business featured on this page, please email kristi@btlt.org.

Mare Brook Farm is a seasonal, specialty cut flower farm located in Brunswick, Maine. Their family strives to provide high-quality, locally grown flowers to our neighbors May through September and woody plants and greenery through the holidays.
They recently launched a cut flower club called #MaineBlooms, as a way to spread hope and gratitude throughout the community. For each bouquet purchased, they will donate a bouquet in your name to a health care or front line hero, an essential worker, or a neighbor located in Bath, Brunswick, Durham, Freeport, Harpswell, or Topsham. All #MaineBlooms bouquets include free (contract free) delivery.
Follow and message them on Instagram (@marebrookfarm) or Facebook to learn more about how together we can help Maine continue to bloom as a community.
All of us at Mere Point Oyster Company hope this message finds you safe and healthy as we navigate the “new normal.”
We want to remind you that we value you as local partners and customers, during the time of COVID-19 and beyond. We are committed to finding every channel we can to adapt to dynamic changes in the seafood industry, to support you however we can, and assure you that we are still here, and will be when things evolve towards a new landscape of business.
At present, we have launched a pickup and limited delivery service providing locally sourced shellfish and seafood to our community using the highest standards we pride ourselves on. We have added serious and increased measures to protect our customers and community from the spread of COVID-19. We are so proud to see local fisherman, farmers, and business partners participating alongside us, and with us on this venture. We are all riding this storm out together, and hope that when the seas calm, we will still be working as closely and purposefully as we are now.
Feel free to come say hello at the BTLT Farmers’ Market on Saturdays or give us a call at 207-841-3651 to hear our weekly menu and order for pick-up. Visit us on Facebook, Instagram, or our website.
To a safe and healthy stewardship of our local land and sea,
The Mere Point Oyster Team

Wild Oats is now offering a recipe subscription, too! They want to bring Wild Oats all-natural, from-scratch food to your home (safely and with no contact)! While it will require a little work, they present to you 17 of their favorite recipes! Fun and easy to make at home, they are perfect to make during isolation and are great to do as part of a homeschooling schedule (yay math and science)! Not only will your subscription help out a local business, but you will be able to enjoy Wild Oats food from home long past the self-isolation period!
The door to Carrot Signs may be locked to keep interaction with the public to a minimum, but they are continuing their work in the shop! For all of your sign needs, visit CarrotSigns.com
The amazing, hardworking team
at Brunswick Veterinary Clinic is glad to be available for those that need them! They are offering easy, curbside service until further notice. Clients stay in the car, call when they arrive to check in, and a staff member will bring a pet in, do any exam or testing necessary, and return the pet to the car. They are still filling prescriptions and diets from the clinic or from their online store. Visit their website for more information!
