February 15, 2016
9:00 am - 10:30 am
Due to the forecast cold weather, this event has been
RESCHEDULED for Monday, Febrary 15th at 2:00pm
Have you been to the beautiful new conservation area on the former Brunswick Naval Air Station? Come join us for a X-C outing at Kate Furbish Preserve.
Holly Green local ski coach and teacher will lead us on a moderate-level, 3-4 mile, out and back ski, on open trails through the woods. We will reach a lovely view of Harpswell Sound and pass through diverse natural areas.
Please, no dogs on this outing to preserve the integrity of the ski-tracks.
Watch the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust facebook page for updates in case of inclement weather or lack of snow.
This event is part of Great Maine Outdoor Weekend, a series of events led by outdoor oriented organizations and companies to celebrate the how, where, and what of being active outside in Maine. The goal is to connect friends and neighbors with the natural world, to promote fun, physical activity, & good health.
