Join us at the Labyrinth in the Woods to celebrate the Winter Solstice – Come together with friends and neighbors to bring light and joy into the longest night of the year!
Children and adults of all ages are encouraged to attend. This event is a non-denominational way to celebrate the changing seasons. Everyone is welcome!
The path from the community garden and through the labyrinth will be lit with luminaria for self guided, solstice celebration walks. Due to covid we are asking each family or group to sign up for a 20 minute time block. Time blocks are staggered to minimize the number of people on the path at one time. Please be respectful of others by stepping aside as appropriate if you cross paths with another group, by waiting for the group before you to finish their time in the labyrinth, and by enjoying the solstice celebration within your own time block so as not to interfere with the groups before and after you.
Registration is required. Click HERE to sign-up.
***Masks or face coverings are required***
A few volunteers are needed to set-up and break-down the luminaria, and to snowshoe the path assuming we have fresh snow. If you’d like to help out, please email Jamie.
