Each year, the Land Trust’s Tom Settlemire Community Garden (TSCG) hosts a plant sale thanks to the effort of dozens of volunteers. The proceeds benefit the TSCG’s Common Good Garden, which enriches hundreds of lives each year, providing local food, gardening education, produce for the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program, a therapeutic environment for those with physical disabilities, volunteer opportunities for people of all ages, and above all a tremendous community of friends that will welcome you!
There are an array of perennials, biennials, herbs, vegetable seedlings, annual seedlings, heirloom variety plants, shrubs, small trees and vines available. Knowledgeable volunteers will be on hand to help you choose the best options for your garden.
It’s not just about the plants you’ll find – it’s a wonderful day of celebration and meeting your community of local gardeners.
