Join Wayne Whitney for a guided tour of Bradley Pond Farm, which will be reopening soon, focusing on the stewardship management of this property and the work of BTLT. Bradley Pond Farm Preserve is a 163 acre easement property located adjacent to Bradley Pond, the head waters of the Cathance River. The Bradley Pond Farm easement donors wanted to protect their traditional farm forever and share its pastoral features with the public. The property’s trails, open to the public, pass through quiet woods, providing views of Bradley Pond to hikers and skiers.  The Bradley Pond Farm easement protects over 4,000 feet of Bradley Pond shoreline.

Wayne Whitney has been a BTLT member for 33 years and an active volunteer for 9 years.  His volunteer work primarily focus on trail management.  Wayne is a retired attorney, 10th generation Mainer, and has lived in Brunswick for 37 years.  He enjoys the outdoors, hiking, biking, and X-country skiing.

The walk should take 1hr-1.5hrs.  We suggest wearing sturdy shoes and bringing water, sunscreen and a hat.

This event is free but registration is required!

The BTLT Stewardship Tour Series seeks to introduce the community to land conservation, stewardship, and history by offering guided walks with the Land Trust’s incredible Stewardship Team!
