Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber Walk

  • November 19, 2021
    2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber is offering guided walks on area land trust properties for Chamber members. This is the first of a new Chamber offering – small group walks, with the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust being the first land trust to be featured. These organized walks will be 2x/month, for as long as the weather accommodates us. Yes – we know it’s getting colder, and winter is known for its snow, but there’s so much value in taking a walk together…

  • Are you interested in more networking opportunities? These walks will be low Covid-risk, but high reward for meeting up with fellow chamber members in smaller group settings more frequently throughout the month. Community is all about building relationships, and we want to offer you more chances to do just that.
  • Are you Zoomed-out? Walking in the woods is revitalizing, physically and mentally, which we need all the time, not just in Covid times. Plus, connecting in real time out in nature is so much better than pixels.
  • It’s tough to feel sharp and focused if we’re always in one place. Fresh air, trees, and good conversation is a recipe for new inspiration and ideas to take back to the office.
  • This is the land where we live and work. It’s our shared place, so it’s important that we take time to appreciate it together. Doing so gels community.

Join the Chamber for a trail walk on Friday, November 19th at 2pm at Crystal Spring Farm. *Rain date is Wednesday, November 24th at 2pm*.  Here’s a map of the area if you’re not familiar. We’ll be taking East Trail to Blueberry Loop.

These organized walks are open to SMMC members. Spots are limited (6-8) to be mindful of parking availability and to create a small group experience. Please e-mail Claire ( to sign up; she willing be leading the walks.

Chamber members, stay tuned for future walk dates featuring more BTLT properties, as well as other area land trusts.
