0a853d87e1b164150011b99d0757ad06Join Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust and Cathance River Education Alliance (CREA) at the Labyrinth in the Woods to celebrate the Winter Solstice – Come together with friends and neighbors to bring light and joy into the longest night of the year!

Guided walks will occur at 4:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm with group singing around the labyrinth. If you appreciate a more solitary celebration of the solstice please enjoy walking the labyrinth between 7:30-8:00pm. Children and adults of all ages are encouraged to attend. This event is a non-denominational way to celebrate the changing seasons. Everyone is welcome!  REGISTRATION is REQUIRED!  Please be prepared to show your confirmation email.


A few volunteers are needed to set-up and break-down the luminaria, snowshoe the path assuming we have fresh snow, and greet and direct attendees. If you would like to help us with any of these tasks please sign up through this link. Email Jamie with any questions you have,


Arrival. The luminaria lit path begins next to the Tom Settlemire Community Garden

Please bring your own solstice lantern.  Make your own at home, or join us for a lantern making event on December 14th.

It will be dark! Please bring a camping lantern, flashlight or headlamp as well.

It will be cold! Please dress very warmly.

It may be slippery! Please wear appropriate footwear and take this into consideration if you have limited mobility or small children.

Parking can be limited. See the map to the right for suggested parking locations – please, if possible, allow those with more limited mobility to use parking area 2. (You can click on the image to enlarge it.)
