** CANCELLED** Taking Root Plant Sale

  • May 30, 2020
    9:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Land Trust and the Plant Sale planning team have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Plant Sale in the interest of ensuring the safety of volunteers, staff, and customers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

We will still be accepting donations of plants as we intend to focus our efforts on building our collection and developing the infrastructure to grow unique perennials for our community to purchase in future years. CLICK HERE for details.

Please note that the location of the Plant Sale has changed to Exhibition Hall at the Topsham Fairgrounds this year!

Get your gardening started at the Taking Root Plant Sale!

Each year the Land Trust’s Tom Settlemire Community Garden (TSCG) hosts a plant sale thanks to the effort of dozens of volunteers. The proceeds benefit the TSCG’s Common Good Garden, that supports the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program and an array of educational gardens serving local students, adults, and at risk youth.
