Families will start their own seedlings, read a book together, and romp on the trails as time allows.
The Southern Midcoast Forest Playgroup is a free, parent-facilitated program that aims to provide a space for like aged-children to explore, learn, and interact outside. Their branch meets every Thursday at 9:30am at different locations in the Southern Midcoast region. Weekly adventures are typically posted the Sunday or Monday before the adventure on their Facebook page.

Southern Midcoast Forest Playgroup is partnering with Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust, Harpswell Heritage Land Trust, Kennebec Estuary Land Trust, Cathance River Education Alliance, Growing to Give and the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center to offer nature-based activities and exploration. Each week a different one of these organizations will host the activity portion of the gathering.
