Ever wonder if that bug should be squished or gently returned to the tree it jumped off? Ever wondered if the trees you plant are going to survive the onslaught of the most recent insect invaders?
Join Colleen Teerling, Forest Entomologist with the Maine Forest Service, in the field to search for invasive insects and consider their impacts on our forests and local economy. Learn about some of the biggest threats to our forests from invasive insects, how these pests are arriving in Maine and are likely to impact our forests, and what you can do to help.

This event is part of our ongoing series, A Local Look at Our Changing Climate, in collaboration with the Cathance River Education Alliance (CREA). This series explores the local impacts of a changing climate, as well as local solutions and adaptations as seen by your neighbors and in your own back yard.
