The forests in Maine that we cherish for habitat, recreation, wood products, and more also play a key role in mitigating climate change. Join Karin Tilberg, President/CEO of the Forest Society of Maine, virtually to learn how our forests are helping to offset greenhouse gas emissions in the state. Learn what we can do to ensure our forests remain intact, healthy, and productive – at both the personal and the policy level. It’s another way we can show up for the next generation!
Karin has a B.S. in Wildlife Biology from the University of Vermont and a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law. Before joining FSM, Karin worked for decades in both the public and private sectors, focusing on conservation law and policy. In her free time Karin enjoys fly fishing, hiking, canoeing, Nordic skiing, and artistic pursuits.
