How Matching Gifts Work
Many employers offer Matching Gift programs that can increase the value of your contribution to Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust:
Dollar-for-dollar: Most employers that offer a match will match your donation 1:1.
Extra generous: Some may even match at 2:1 or 3:1.
Volunteer hours: A number of companies also match the value of your time spent volunteering.
Take the Next Step
It’s simple to find out if your employer participates:
1.
Ask your HR department if your donation to BTLT qualifies for a match.
2.
Submit your company’s Matching Gift form (online or paper).
3.
Your gift goes even further in protecting land, supporting local food, educating youth, and building community.
By taking a few extra minutes, you can multiply the impact of your generosity, help conserve even more of the places you love, and encourage your company to invest in your community!
