Donor-Advised Funds
A flexible and tax-efficient way to support local conservation.
What Is a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)?
A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is like a charitable investment account. You contribute cash, stock, or other assets into your fund, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time to nonprofits you care about, like Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust!
Why Give Through a DAF?
Convenient: Manage all your charitable giving in one place.
Flexible: Make one-time or recurring gifts.
Tax-smart: Receive immediate tax benefits when you contribute to your DAF.
Lasting impact: Naming BTLT as a beneficiary creates a legacy of conservation and community.
How It Works
Making a DAF gift to BTLT is simple:
1.
Contact your DAF provider to recommend a gift.
2.
Your provider will send the gift directly to us on your behalf.
3.
You can also name BTLT as a remainder beneficiary of your fund, ensuring your legacy continues.
