Woodward Cove – Degen is a 13 acre parcel located at the headwaters of Woodward Cove. The property contains saltmarsh, mixed wetlands, and upland forest adjacent to Route 24 and plays as important role in protecting the water quality of Woodward Cove and the New Meadows River. It also buffers critical shellfish growing area and wading bird habitat for numerous state-listed species observed here.
