Tarbox Preserve

Tarbox is a 121-acre property that spans between the Cathance and Muddy Rivers. Owned in fee, it is accessible from Middlesex Road in Topsham. The property includes upland forests, fields, active vernal pools, wetlands, and over 4,000 feet of river frontage.

From Maine Street in Brunswick, cross the bridge into Topsham then turn right onto Elm Street. Continue 0.7 miles onto Middlesex Road and follow for 3.2 miles before arriving at approximately 660 Middlesex Road, where a dirt parking area is located on the left side of the road opposite the house on the other side of the road.
