Spring Birding Extravaganza 2025 Line-Up
There’s nothing quite like that first burst of birdsong on a spring morning – or spotting a flash of color in the trees as birds return from their winter travels. As the days grow longer and the air warms up, feathered friends of all shapes and sizes make their way back to Maine. And before the trees fully leaf out, it’s the perfect time to see them up close. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just bird-curious, Spring Birding Extravaganza is for everyone! This annual celebration brings together local conservation groups to offer a variety of free, welcoming bird walks and events across the region. Come learn, explore, and enjoy the wonder of spring migration with us. We are pleased to partner with Kennebec Estuary Land Trust, Harpswell Heritage Land Trust, and Maine Coast Heritage Trust to offer a variety of birding events this spring.
In order to give more people an opportunity to experience these wonderful walks, we are requesting individuals only register for one walk each. Thank you!
