How to Help

If you are interested in working to maintain trails at Bradley Pond Farm, Crystal Spring Farm, or the Skolfield Preserve, the Stewardship Committee would be delighted to enlist you. In addition, though most of the land under protection is privately owned and maintained, BTLT owns both Crystal Spring Farm and the Skolfield Preserve and we have to manage those lands just as any homeowner must do. Getting out and actively working on the land is, of course, one of the main reasons to join in these management activities.

BTLT has an active committee looking for future conservation opportunities and evaluating land protection options as they come up. If you enjoy looking at the landscape as a whole and working to evaluate and prioritize the critical ecological areas of our towns, this could be a good fit for you.

BTLT also has active events planning committee. If you would like to be more involved in planning events to engage the membership and general public with our preservation projects, please give us a call. There are fundraisers as well as membership events to get people out to enjoy the land BTLT has worked hard with the community to protect.

Please call us at 729-7694 or Email at btlt@gwi.net with questions or to get involved. The office is located upstairs at 108 Maine Street in Brunswick.
